Gymnastics Experience- in bio
Bio:
Was a dancer from age 2 to early adult, danced with a USO type troupe at many armed forces bases in the US and Bahamas.  Competed for PRP, Turners, Louisville YMCA, Louisville Gym for 10 years 1960-70, taught classes at the Y starting in 1964 and continued teaching and coaching.  BS U of Louisville HPER and Biology double major, MA WKU in Education- taught high school and coached gymnastics at Moore 68-74 (3 state championships). Coached at U of Louisville 74-82-won State and Regionals and qualifed to Nationals many times.  FIG Brevet judge starting in 1972, went to many countries to judge and an official at Atlanta Olympics.  Held  regional USAG (then USGF) positions throughout the years, and NAWGJ SJD and RJD.
Parachuted, ran a marathon, went up in a hot air balloon, was an EMT, taking Ball Room dance lessons and now scuba diving.  Traveled extensively on vacations, judging and clinics.  Most proud of raising my family to hopefully be good citizens, have high moral standards, responsible family members, not afraid to work hard and to stand up for their rights. I am also pleased with having been able to be instrumental in the development of gymnastics for our country, for gymnasts and judges through hopefully what I have taught and setting a good example.
