Brief Bio:
I took an active part of my childhood years in dance & in college at Eastern Kentucky University in 1983-1985. I utilized my dancing experience in drama & talent shows in high school. I was involved in gymnastics when my daughters joined gymnastics in 1992 when the girls were 2 ½ & 3 ½ years old (the girls are now 17 & 18). Back then, I was the gyms computer consultant and eventually began coaching power tumbling in 1994. I coached Women’s team gymnastics for several gyms from 1994 thru 2007. I eventually became part-owner of Ultimate Gym in 2000. I have currently stepped down from coaching gymnastics probably for good due to excessive overtime with my full-time employment. I have judged three meets in 2006 and have enjoyed every one of them. My greatest judging experience was National Judges Cup in Indianapolis, IN. I truly enjoyed meeting other judges especially those that were from California as I was born & raised there for 11 years. I am currently a professional member of USAG, National Safety Certified, Level 1-4 Skill Evaluator Certified, Judging accreditation Level 5/6 and the web master for KY-NAWGJ.
